Helena West-Helena/Batesville Program

I've been analyzing the number of page views I've been getting per post, and as they have begun to drop significantly with each new post, I have been wondering why.

It's taken me a while, but I just now realize that it's most likely because I haven't been posting pictures. Now, I don't necessarily post to please an audience, but I realize that a lot of intellectualizing can be boring. So to switch things up, here's some very unprofessional pictures from this last canvassing program!

It's a good thing there were only three of us girls! The room was pretty small...Crystal even got to sleep on a table.

I can't understand what happened with this sign

What you get when you put a ghetto town in agricultural land: a Cadillac-type car on tractor wheels!

Duncan felt pretty comfortable with this snake

Haven't quite figure out how to properly hold a big snake, as much as I like them. This one was super chill; he belonged to the pastor's wife.
This stack of tires got me every time I drove past it. I thought it was balancing, or falling over.
A road that I wish I could have fast-forwarded myself into summer while I was driving through

The fake snake that Duncan accidentally threw perfectly halfway under our door. It showed up several times around that church, and scared me every single time.

A super old sign in the historic part of Helena
Apparently I am supposed to stop?
Found a cool boardwalk beside the Mississippi river and we ate lunch there.
It was a really nice change from being in town the whole week

Arkansas on the left, Mississippi on the right

The structure of the boardwalk was aesthetically pleasing
My cute little team. They have been so much fun, and such great workers. From L to R, it's Tori, Crystal, Nathan, Josh, and then Duncan and Daniel in the front.
I was imagining the Mississippi flooding that high...scary

And we had to hurry to start work after lunch because I had to drive a ways to find good territory
The sunset that evening, taken while driving down the highway at 40 or 50 mph
I had all but one of my team in this neighborhood, and they finished when I was gone giving books to the other canvasser. When I got back to pick them up, it was a little hard to find them. (except for Crystal)
Happy Pizza!!! (what is it?)
Memories from the first week and a half in Helena West-Helena
Taking pictures of their work. That room is the stockroom + guy's room + entertainment room
Probably no one but our team would find any of this interesting, but we had a lot of fun
Moving to Batesville...instead of ping-pong, the new activity is Trivia Crack

Wondering how much snow and ice there will be by morning
Going to territory reminded me of a video game. I'm glad I wasn't driving...although I probably would have had a lot of fun
Canvassing in the snow and ice is so much adventure. It's a new puzzle, every yard you come to, every walkway and driveway you come across, trying to get to the door without falling
We were the

Scuds over Melbourne
Mobile 1, coming for to pick us up
On the way home

The mountain of snow in the Walmart parking lot in Mountain View the next day. Duncan canvassed for a half hour in that parking lot and didn't even notice it. Daniel was praying that we would be focused on the work...

What we do when we are given a DVD we haven't seen before. We put it in the van and all watch it together.

Learning Italian in my spare time, and thought this picture was inspiring
